SoonSpoon’s mission has always been to connect diners with restaurants, helping you get a last-minute reservation and helping restaurants keep their dining rooms full. From pop-up dinners and building partnerships with more than 25 of Boston’s best restaurants, we’ve always been about promoting spontaneous dining and connecting good people with great food.
A few months ago, we heard about a new digital concierge service that shared a lot of our vision and values. Reserve is all about improving the dining experience both for restaurants and their guests, and they were passionate in the same way we were about creating amazing experiences for Boston diners. When we learned more, we were blown away by the Reserve team’s technology – we instantly knew that this was a service that we couldn’t wait to use, and we could easily imagine SoonSpoon’s users and partners getting excited about too. As we got to know the founders and learned more about the investors in the service, we became even more convinced that Reserve could have a huge impact on how we dine.
Today we are excited to announce that SoonSpoon has been acquired by Reserve. Conor has followed his passion into the culinary world and Travis has joined the Reserve team here in Boston. Over the past few months, the team has been working hard to bring a better dining experience to Boston – to many of our SoonSpoon partners and hopefully to many of you, our wonderful users.
